2 points go to team Donaldson after beating Team Doyle 5 – 2
The score belied the game as it turned in end 3 when a very fortuitist stone landed hidden in the house to stop Team Doyle getting a 3
In the game between Team Webster and Team Rainey it ended 6 – 6
Team Rainey were 6 – 1 up after 4 ends but Team Webster took a 4 in the 5th end and against the hammer managed another 1 to earn the draw

VSN RULES 2023/24
1. 5 Rinks will play 8 games over 10 Mondays and each game will be 6 Ends or the Bell
2. 4 Teams playing with one team sitting out
3. Each week there will be a spare sheet of ice for the team sitting out
4. A team with a player short can use the lead or second of the team sitting out. In the event of two teams with a player short then the skips will toss a coin to chose either the lead or the second from the team sitting out
5. A team with two players short may use the lead and second from the team sitting out providing there isn’t another team with a player short
6. If three teams are a player short then the two teams playing each other will play 6 stone triples
7. If all four teams turn up with a player short. Then and only then can they all play 6 stone triples
8. The first teamed named has the hammer
9. If two or more teams finish on the same points the winners will be decided by Shots For and Against then Ends
10. Paul Webster’s 3rd has had to pull out and therefore the 3rd of the team sitting out will play for Paul. This is a committee decision and this is the only time a 3rd will play
